Bath

This public bath was named after Árpád was closed years ago but it will be renovated soon. It had a very good classic sauna in which I spent many Saturday mornings with my friends.

Will it be a public bath when it is complete? I would hate to think that such a beautiful building wouldn't welcome the general public!

Hello Teomo, I'm enjoying looking at your photo's. This picture of the bath house made me look up Arpad on Wikipedia. He has an interesting history. Is it possible that the bath house will be open by the middle of May this year. This is when our visit is planned. My husband's firm has been in existence for 100 years in May and to celebrate this the firm has offered a weekend visit to Budapest for employees. Some people may take the opportunity of going earlier so as to visit the project of the home for older people in Székesfehérvár. This was built in cooperation with my husbands firm. That is actually the reason that I have visited your town of Székesfehérvár before. In May the building is being officially opened. Best regards, Lindy
